The couple honored Jarvis’ Edo heritage with outfits that beautifully celebrated the history and traditions of the ancient Benin Kingdom.

Jarvis arrived looking every bit like Edo royalty in a custom made crimson velvet gown by celebrity designer Veekee James. The fitted floor length masterpiece featured intricate beadwork, geometric patterns and sculptural details that transformed the dress into a work of art.

The highlight was undoubtedly her traditional Okuku beaded crown, layered with luxurious coral beads, a symbol closely associated with Benin royalty.

She completed the regal look with multiple coral necklaces, matching coral wrist cuffs and a black horsetail fly whisk finished with a gold handle, giving her an appearance fit for a queen.

The back of the gown was equally breathtaking.

Inspired by the famous Ada and Eben, the ceremonial swords that symbolize authority and royalty in Benin culture, the dress featured dramatic sculptural extensions lined with coral beads. The elaborate craftsmanship created movement, elegance and cultural symbolism from every angle.

Every detail reminded guests that fashion can also tell a story.

Peller Matched the Royal Energy

Not to be outdone, Peller stepped into the ceremony dressed like a true Edo prince.

The popular content creator wore a luxurious deep burgundy velvet ceremonial robe adorned with gold embroidery and coral bead detailing over a traditional white outfit.

His matching coral beaded cap, layers of coral necklaces, coral wrist accessories and carved ceremonial staff perfectly complemented Jarvis’ stunning bridal look.

Together, the newlyweds looked like royalty stepping straight out of the Benin Kingdom.
