The month of October has some exciting movies lined up for release in cinemas and popular online streaming platforms. From dramas to romance, comedies, thrillers and more, we will be seeing some of the most entertaining Nollywood movies, yet.

From those already released and others yet to be, we have carefully selected a few for you to look out for.

3 Working Days
It tells of a father’s quest to provide for his family while dealing with Nigeria’s cash scarcity crisis.

Inside Life
The movie is a series inspired by life events. It is a supernatural drama that captures the lives of Nigerians living in an unpredictable country, terrified by the government policies and how the people navigate them. Revolving around the faltering Nigerian Judicial system and its effect on a man’s life.

Directed by Clarence Peters and penned by Tonia Chukwurah and Olumide.

Cast: Gabriel Afolayan, Scarlett Gomez, Meg Otanwa, Jigan Babaoja, and Nollywood veterans Jide Kosoko and Zack Orji.

 

Smart Money Woman

The first season was a seven-episode series adaptation that premiered on Netflix in September 2021.
It’s second season will debut on October 31, 2024.

The Smart Money Woman is a financial literacy comedy-drama following a group of stylish and ambitious best girlfriends in Lagos, Nigeria, the mecca of culture in Nigeria.
