Talk about one home grown actor who has tasted all three most popular movie industry, and the name Daniel Lloyd easily pops up. Yes, this guy has featured in Bollywood, Hollywood and Nollywood.


Hailed by every director he has worked with as, one of the best actors when it comes to interpreting roles. Danny as he is fondly called, hasn’t been stereotyped. His movies over the years have seen him play the good, the bad and the ugly.

From your favorite lover boy to the street agbero, drug addict, kidnapper, rich prince amongst others, he has always risen to the occasion, delivering breath taking scenes that continuously captivates audience across the globe.

Before his sojourn into the make-believe industry, he was an artist manager, managing Timaya and the Dem Mama soldiers. Together they toured the regions of Nigeria, France, South Africa, China amongst other countries, shutting down concerts.


Despite the success recorded as an artist manager, the love for movies lured him into pursuing his ambition of being a successful actor.

Daniel has featured in blockbuster movies with some of the best Nollywood stars: from the glory years of Jim Iyke, Ramsey Noah, Genevive Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Stella Damascus, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Hilda Dokubo and the likes, to the present generation of Nollywood gladiators.

Some of his movies includes ; Meet my Girlfriend, Wedding saga, 30 and single, My London slave, Shadow of the past, The happy home, Fatal attraction, Father, 200 million, The chronicles, Good turn, Night bus to Lagos, Lonely nights, Imperfect me, Slay Queen, The kings and the Queens, All black, Tears of Silver, Next door nuisance, Andaotu, S.A. girl, the list goes on as his filmography has more than two hundred movies and counting.

One of the first to feature in a cross over movie with Bollywood, when he played the role of Jude in the movie ‘JUDE’.

He has also shot movies in South Africa, Cameroun, America, Uk aside Nigeria, making him one of the most travelled Nollywood actors.

It’s been eighteen years plus and there is no slowing him down. Daniel Lloyd a.k.a. the Eagle is still pushing boundaries, conquering territories and taking the stakes higher.
