According to Kworb, a Spotify data tracking platform, Ayra reached over 2 billion streams as of October 10, 2024  this makes  her one of the most streamed African female artists ever.

Her latest album, The Year I Turned 21, is leading the charge with over 500 million streams, while two standout tracks have individually surpassed 400 million. Rush  has 409M+ streams while Santa (by Rvssian ft. Ayra Starr) has 455M+ streams

In addition, her feature on People by Libianca alongside Omah Lay has hit 106 million, and her breakout single Bloody Samaritan currently stands at 82 million.

A Career Year for the Celestial Being

Beyond streaming success, 2024 has been massive for Ayra Starr. She recently bagged four nominations at the 2024 MTV EMAs in the following categories: Best New Artist, Best African Act, Best Afrobeats Act and Best Push Artist.

Also, her growing international presence is proof that she’s not just a Nigerian star, she’s a global force.
