In a world that celebrates noise and spectacle, it’s rare to find a man whose most profound moments are marked not by camera flashes, but by quiet grace. Pastor Dr. Amos Fenwa, the General Overseer of HolyGhost Christian Centre (HCC Worldwide), has lived much of his life in the service of others, mentoring souls, building lives, and nurturing a ministry that now stretches across continents.

On Thursday, without fanfare or hashtags,  Dr. Amos Fenwa was joined in holy matrimony by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC).
Two years after the passing of his beloved wife and ministry partner, Pastor Esther Fenwa, he embraced a new chapter not in haste, but with a heart anchored in grace, time-tested faith, and divine direction.

For many who know his journey, this moment is far more than a wedding. It is the quiet rebirth of a man who walked through grief with dignity, carrying both the weight of his personal loss and the expectations of thousands who look up to him as shepherd, mentor, and father.

Pastor Esther Fenwa, who passed on May 27, 2023, at the age of 57, was more than a pillar, she was the very foundation beside the pulpit. As co-founder of HCC, her ministry extended beyond the stage into the hearts of women, families, and church arms that still carry her touch. For 33 years, she walked beside her husband not only in marriage but in purpose, passion, and prayer.

When she passed, the outpouring from the global Christian community was immense. But what stood still was her husband, not broken, but anchored. In one of his most profound reflections, Pastor Fenwa shared that God revealed the timing of her departure, even though God withheld the power to stop it. That single sentence told us everything we needed to know about the kind of man he is obedient even in heartbreak, faithful even when it hurts. That divine paradox shaped the next phase of his leadership: tender, reflective, enduring.

As he has often preached, “To everything there is a season… a time to mourn, and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:1–4). This remarriage is not a forgetting, but a dancing again in faith, in purpose, and in peace.

From Lagos to New Jersey, from Ghana to the UK, HCC’s community has responded with warmth and joy. The celebration, though private, reflects a public truth that healing is not abandonment, and love can continue without erasing what once was.

To understand Pastor Amos Fenwa is to understand a calling deeper than position. He is a global mentor, a father to many, a seasoned relationship coach, and Director of HCC Missions in the United States. His books, sermons, and leadership have been used as tools to build not just churches, but lives. His vision has remained consistent: to bring believers into a richer understanding of God, His voice, and His kingdom priorities. In this new chapter, we are reminded that leaders too, carry human hearts. Hearts that break, hearts that heal, hearts that love again.

As the new chapter unfolds, HCC is not slowing down. With renewed fire, upcoming Night of Mercy, other remarkable events, pastoral training intensives, and mission-focused expansions are already taking shape. Signs that this season will birth even more fruit.

It would be easy to sensationalize this moment. But that would miss the point. The real story is not the wedding. The real story is the man who, after walking through the valley of the shadow of loss, chose obedience to purpose once more. The story is about legacy, continuity, and a spiritual leader who believes that life even in its painful turns remains sacred and worth living fully.

This is not a replacement. It is a renewal.
